Lagidze water is apopular Georgian soft drink based on soda and a variety of natural syrups that was invented in 1887 by Mitropan Lagidze. Puri Guliani is a good place to go for pastries, breads, shakes and ice creams.
In fact, Puri Guliani literally translates as Heartful bread or Bread with a heart – this is what our Georgian ancestors called pastries in the past and now they continue this tradition which began more then thousands of years ago.

This restaurant is located in Open Air Museum of Ethnography which name is “Rachis Ubani”, literally translates as Racha District. In fact, Racha is a mountainous region in the Northwest part of Georgia hemmed in Greater Caucasus Mountains, thus this restaurant serves traditional dishes from Racha region that are must-try while travelling through Georgia.

It is worth of underlining that restaurant itself is located in authentic house that are widespread in Racha region where the most typical element is wooden curved balcony. Also, from here you can enjoy amazing views of the Georgia’s capital and at the same time taste some traditional delicious Georgian dishes like Lobiani (bean-pie), Shkmeruli (roasted chicken with garlic sauce) and in addition to this smoked ham directly from Racha region which gives special unique aroma and taste to dishes.
